kreations: TUMI Used by the Incas as a ceremonial knife to offer human/ llama sacrifices to the sun god, Inti at the end of the harvests. Nowadays used as a symbol to chase away “evil spirits”. We have a few hung up, around the house, and I have a necklace Tumi. I doubt “evil spirits” exist, but they’re pretty cool looking, and its a tradition in my family. These Tumi are at the MET, their Oceania and Americas Gallery has so much Inca, and Pre-Inca stuff.
